You will pass the exams within 9 - 12 months from the start of the course!
This procedure is very effective and motivates you because you learn the subject only once and immediately see the results in the form of passed exams.
Experience and knowledge will be passed on to you by the most experienced pilots in aviation who have literally flown all over the world. From Airbus A330 captains who will teach you how to plan a flight literally halfway around the world, to European charter captains, aviation medical examiners and meteorologists who will prepare you very well for future real-world experience.
Expect each of our tutors to be ready to help you as much as possible with your studies, and the whole course will be run in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you there.
The ATPL(A) Airline Transport Pilot Theory Course is designed for those who wish to become transport pilots or plan to undergo CPL and IR training or for high-performance HPA aircraft, where due to the scope of the separate examinations it is more convenient to pass the ATPL examination.
For those interested in completing an ATPL, CPL or IR theory course, we organise the following theory courses. The CPL and IR theory course can be taken either in a group according to the given 9 month schedule or individually.
The study is dividen into 4 blocks. In each block, we will focus on 3-4 subjects. The block lasts approximately 2 months and begins with a series of lectures and tutorials. This is followed by a month of self-study and preparation for the exam. Each block ends with a month-long phase where you take the CAA exams.
This procedure is very effective and motivates you because you learn the subject only once (a sequence of lecture – exercise – self-study – exam) and you immediately see the results in the form of passed exams.
Don’t repeat the mistakes of students who first took all the theory and then prepared for the exams in all subjects. This process is lengthy, inefficient and very frustrating.
During the self-study, the student is expected to study a minimum of 15 hours per week and take regular progress tests in the learning portal. In lectures (tutorials) the lecturer will review important and problematic parts of the material, discuss test questions and answer questions from the students. You will take a final test in each subject to continue with the CAA exam.
Candidates must complete all course requirements (attend lectures and pass tests) within 18 months of starting. You must then complete the CAA exams within 18 months of starting the first exam.
We use materials and textbooks from PadPilot, the leader in ATPL learning materials. Instructors will use the most modern presentations and you will study from contemporary interactive textbooks for Apple devices.
Recommended textbooks (choose the most suitable option for you):
Additional materials:
Textbooks and other tools are not included in the price of the course.
You have 6 blocks to pass the exam. One block corresponds to one month with approximately 12 possible dates.
In each block you can schedule an exam for any number of subjects. If you do not pass the exam, you can retake it in the next block. You may retake an exam for one subject a maximum of 4 times. You will pass the entire ATPL exam if you have passed all exams within the maximum of 6 blocks on no more than the 4th attempt. You have 18 months from the start of the first exam to pass.
The ATPL, IR and CPL examination questions are in English only.
