    Choosing your training programme First, you choose the specific training programme you would like to attend at AeroPrague (for example PPL, modular training, intensive course, etc.). ​ The type and duration of your course will determine which visa you will need (short‑term / long‑term, purpose of stay – study / training

    Deposit payment and training agreement After selecting your course, you pay the required training deposit and sign a training agreement with the school. ​ Only after the deposit has been paid and the agreement has been signed can we issue the official documents needed for your visa proces.

    School confirmation for the visa proces Once the above steps are completed, AeroPrague will issue the necessary school confirmations for your visa process. ​ These confirmations include the basic details of your course and planned stay and are used as supporting documents for your visa application at the relevant Czech embassy or consulate.

    Financial means and personal documents To submit a student visa application, you'll usually need to: Prove sufficient funds for training fees (e.g., bank statement or sponsor letter). Show funds for living expenses throughout your stay in the Czech Republic. Provide a criminal record extract from your country. Get travel health insurance valid for Czech Republic/Schengen. Hold a valid passport with enough validity past your stay. Exact requirements vary by embassy and nationality—always check the relevant Czech embassy's current instructions.

    Accommodation and proof of accommodation You need to arrange accommodation for the duration of your training in advance (for example student hostel, rented flat, hotel, host family). ​ Our school can advise you on recommended accommodation options, and in many cases a deposit for accommodation will be required. ​ For the visa process you will usually need a confirmation of accommodation covering the entire planned period of your stay.

    Submitting documents to AeroPrague for embassy preparation When you have collected all required documents (financial documents, criminal record extract, insurance, passport, accommodation confirmation, etc.), you provide copies of these documents to AeroPrague. ​ The school will: arrange official translations into the required language (usually Czech or English), compile a complete set of documents for the embassy, perform a basic check that no mandatory document is missing according to the embassy’s instructions

    Appointment at the embassy and visa application You then book an appointment at the Czech embassy or consulate in your country. ​ You must bring all originals and complete document sets prepared with the assistance of the school. ​ At the embassy, you will attend an interview and formally submit your student visa application; the decision to issue or refuse a visa is entirely at the discretion of the relevant Czech embassy or consulate. ​

    Visa approval and arrival in the Czech Republic Once your visa application is approved, a visa sticker will be placed in your passport. ​ After arriving in the Czech Republic, it is recommended (and in some cases mandatory) to register your stay with the Foreigners’ Police at the place of your accommodation within the time limit required by law.

    Obligations and Options During Your Stay Comply with visa conditions and follow the approved training plan. For long-term stays, apply for residence permit extension in time if needed. Free access to the labor market (no separate work permit, per current laws). Multiple entries/exits from Czech Republic and Schengen travel allowed (respect short-stay rules).
