Ready to move from piston to turbine?

Conversion training onto the Piper Meridian

Converting onto this aircraft requires a Single Engine Turbine (SET) rating. Your entry into turbine flying - we'll teach you everything, step by step.

What conversion training involves

  • A total of 10 training days
  • 5 hours in the aircraft and 10 hours on the simulator
  • After conversion training, you can fly your own business trips across Europe
  • A great way to move from a GA pilot to turbine flying

Requirements to start SET training

  • A valid PPL(A) pilot licence
  • A valid medical certificate, at least Class 2
  • A radiotelephony licence
  • A minimum total flight time of 200 hours and 70 hours total as PIC

What training looks like

Training consists of theory, covering the aircraft's systems - and, if you don't already hold ATPL(A) theory, a High Performance Aircraft (HPA) familiarisation course as well. Then 10 hours of simulator training and 5 hours in the aircraft. Training combines the aircraft and the simulator.
