Professional training on Cirrus aircraft

Training on the Cirrus SR22 is for pilots who want to move up to modern, higher-performance glass-cockpit aircraft. The course covers the avionics, autopilot, the CAPS (Cirrus Airframe Parachute System), and standard as well as advanced IFR procedures.

At our modern flight school in Prague Letňany, you'll get an individual approach, relaxed instructors and a strong focus on safety. Training runs on our state-of-the-art Cirrus simulator and then on our own Cirrus aircraft, which you can keep flying after completing the course. Your next business trip or working lunch across Europe will be in a fast, modern aircraft.

Conversion training also runs on the Cirrus SR22 simulator

The simulator offers a realistic environment and avionics that match the real aircraft, so you can train different situations safely on the ground before moving smoothly to the real aircraft. This approach significantly improves both the quality and safety of training and is roughly 50–60% cheaper than an hour in the aircraft. The simulator supports SR20, SR22 and SR22 Turbo configurations across generations G3–G6, including Perspective+ avionics.

Conversion training onto the Cirrus SR22

Training combines the aircraft and the simulator. Conversion training includes:

• Theoretical preparation - official online course by Cirrus Aircraft (a week of self-study at home)
• Classroom theory with an instructor - 8 hours
• Simulator - 4 hours
• Practical flight training - 6 hours for VFR + 4 hours for IFR

Estimated price, converted from our Czech price list - Michal will send the real euro figures soon. The hours shown are the minimum required by the syllabus - the amount of instructor time you need depends on how much you prepare for lessons on your own. You pay for training in instalments, as you fly. Paying for the whole course in advance gets you a 5% discount. After training, you rent our aircraft at discounted rates.

Hassle-free aircraft rental

After your conversion training, you can rent this aircraft whenever you need it - though the Cirrus has the strictest flight-time requirements of our whole fleet.

What you need to rent the aircraft any time

• A valid PPL(A) pilot licence
• A valid medical certificate, at least Class 2
• A radiotelephony licence
• Total flight time of 100 hours, 60 hours total as PIC, and 20 hours as PIC in the last 6 months
• A signed rental agreement
• Pilot insurance covering the operator's liability
• Conversion training on this aircraft
