We have recently added this absolutely fantastic simulator for our students. Come and try it out - in addition to transitioning onto the Cirrus aircraft, you can test the parachute system, familiarize yourself with Garmin avionics, train for IFR flights, and try out many other interesting flight scenarios.
What can this simulator be used for?
On the ground, there's time to explain everything and try it out. You'll use the simulator at every stage of your training - from PPL(A) and ULL(A), for practising emergency procedures and communication, through parachute-system scenarios, all the way to IFR training.
You sit in a cockpit with three projected views, and every control is exactly where it is in the real aircraft - from the throttle and flaps to the avionics control panel. The flight model faithfully reproduces the aircraft's behaviour in every phase of flight, so you're not getting used to something that will feel different in the air. The simulator also covers the SR20, SR22 and SR22T models, and both generations of avionics, Perspective and Perspective+.
In a real aircraft, nobody's going to cut the engine just so you can try to handle it. On the simulator we can set up almost any failure, plus any weather and time of day - and if something doesn't go well, we simply try it again. The most valuable part is being able to pause the flight, break down the situation, and carry on.
The Cirrus has a whole-airframe parachute rescue system, and deploying it is a decision a pilot makes once in a lifetime - under pressure, in a matter of seconds. This is the only simulator in the Czech Republic that can faithfully simulate its use, so you can walk through that procedure before you'd ever need it for real.
An hour on the simulator is roughly 60% cheaper than an hour in the aircraft - and you get more done in it, because there's no take-off, no transit to the training area, and no waiting for the weather. You can also rent the simulator on your own, without an instructor, just to keep your routine sharp.
Eight things you can train on it
The simulator offers a realistic environment and avionics corresponding to a real aircraft, allowing you to train for various situations safely on the ground. The cockpit features all the controls found in a real aircraft, and the flight model faithfully reproduces the aircraft's behaviour in all phases of flight. It also lets you simulate many of the malfunctions a pilot may encounter in a real aircraft.
Have you ever deployed a parachute? Neither have we. It is the only simulator that can accurately simulate the use of a rescue parachute system. We use it to practise scenarios that may occur in a real aircraft - and it's great to be prepared for them.
Pick any destination in the world and we can fly there together, so you know what to expect along the way - including intensive English radio communication. You can fly an Alpine arrival on the simulator before you ever fly it for real.
This simulator is a great way to learn how to operate the advanced avionics found in most aircraft, including the proper use of autopilot for your longer trips across Europe.
The Cirrus SR22 is a fully equipped aircraft for IFR flights and can be used to practise all scenarios, from basic instrument flight to approach and emergency procedures.
The simulator lets us set any weather conditions and time of day, which makes it a great tool for practising night-flying scenarios too.
The simulator runs AI-based software that convincingly simulates real air traffic control communication, so you train for real in-flight situations - in English or in Czech.
Bad weather, storms, strong wind. Try out what it feels like to fly into deteriorating weather conditions and how you would handle it - much better to find out on the simulator first.
Experienced instructors trained directly by Cirrus Aircraft will be with you on the simulator - they know the procedures exactly as the manufacturer intended.
We can pause the session at any time, break down the situation, and try it again right away. That's the most valuable part of training on a simulator.

Prices are listed per hour, without 21 % VAT. You can also rent the simulator for your own proficiency flights without an instructor - then you only pay the simulator rate.
