The first impression when flying an aircraft equipped with the Garmin G1000 / Perspective for the first time is that you have to focus all your attention to the screen! You are trying to find out what is what and what to do. In such case distracted pilot forgets two basic tasks: flying the airplane and monitoring the traffic. To avoid such dangerous situation you should learn how to control these advanced systems on the ground, not during the flight.
